My Loan Johnson has been a hairstylist for almost a decade. She discovered her passion for hair when she was nine-years-old and was standing in line behind her classmate, whose hair was neatly put into two dutch braids. She studied the way the hair criss-crossed as she admired the braids. After school, she attempted to put her hair into a dutch braid. Miraculously, she got it right on the first try, and the rest is history.

My Loan loves what she does and takes great pride in her work. She believes that it's important to listen to what her guests want and understand the underlying reason(s). By listening and understanding, she is able to deliver what her clients request, while making minor changes according to their hair texture, facial features, and lifestyle. Simply put, her priority is to make sure her clients leave her chair with boosts of confidence and smiles on their faces!
